Privacy Policy

Pomópets exists to get you off your phone. A product with that mission has no business hoarding your data. The short version: your raw health and screen-time data never leave your device, your public profile shows your pet and never your life, and we don’t sell anything to anyone.

What we collect on this website

• Waitlist email. If you join the waitlist, we store your email address for one purpose: telling you when Pomópets opens. Unsubscribe anytime; we delete the address on request.
• No ad trackers, no analytics profiles. We may use privacy-preserving, aggregate page counts, never cross-site tracking.

What the app will collect (at launch)

• Account. Sign in with Apple, the minimum stable key needed to keep your pets safe across devices. Your public handle is your ship’s name, not your real name.
• Gameplay signals, not raw records. Your pet grows from derived signals: “completed a 25-minute focus session,” “met today’s move goal,” a 0–100 sleep score. These summaries are the only thing that syncs.

What never leaves your device

• Raw Apple Health data (steps, workouts, sleep stages, mindful minutes).
• Raw Screen Time records (which apps you use and for how long).
• Anything typed into a focus session note.

Processing happens on-device. The servers see game state, not your life.

What’s public

Your Pomoship is your public profile: pets, levels, evolutions, decor, trophies, and career stats you choose to show. Health-derived details (like sleep) are never public. You control what appears.

What we will never do

• Sell or share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers.
• Show ads.
• Link your health data to your identity.

Deletion & contact

Email aloha@mahalomochi.com to ask what we hold about you or to have it deleted. Account deletion will also be available directly in the app.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the date above. Material changes to app data handling will be announced in the app before they take effect. See also the terms of service.
